Podcasting
This Podcasting task was great for me because i have never had any expereince downloading a podcast to listen to or creating my own. I must admit the only reason i know about Podcasting is because i listen to the Radio One breakfast show with Chris Moyles and he is alwyas mentioning that listeners can download the show onto a podcast. Otherwise i would have never heard of it! Fantastic for children particularly to improve their speaking and listening skills, but also as a confidence booster for speaking within a group or to an audience. Easy to use and great fun. Something i will definitely be using in the future if the school had the software.

I also had never really heard about podcasting apart from on radio 1 and like you Emma I found the software fantastic. Great for speaking and listening like you have mentioned but also great as a part of the school community. What a great way to share the amazing topics and activities the children will be doing!
